Η Εγκυκλοπαίδεια της Καρπάθου βασίζεται στα πρότυπα της ανοικτής εγκυκλοπαίδειας του διαδικτύου WIKIPEDIA με μερικές σημαντικές διαφορές (όπως τον θεματικό περιορισμό στην Κάρπαθο ή τον περιορισμό συγγραφής).

Προς το παρόν βρίσκεται σε πειραματικό στάδιο (δείτε τον κατάλογο λημμάτων και τον κατάλογο νέων λημμάτων).

Karpatho-pedia: the free to use encyclopedia of Karpathos & Kassos on the internet

Announced at the latest «International symposium of the Karpathian Folk Culture» (March 22, 2006, Karpathos, Greece), this project is about presenting the History, Geography, Culture & Life of the islands of Karpathos & Kassos, Greece. Karpathopedia is based on the "WIKIPEDIA" model (www.wikipedia.org), with a few notable exceptions, like the restricted scope and its limited authorship.

Currently, all the content is in Greek, and there will be more content in English soon.
